About Tony

Tony works with teams across the fields of marketing, measurement and organisational psychology.  

He has two simple philosophies: 

 

Helping teams make better decisions;

Making people better. 

 

After studying marketing and advertising at UAL, he spent the first 15 year of his career in advertising/media agencies before spending the next 13 years at Facebook as it grew from 1,000 to 80,000 people.

As a leader, his desire to understand people resulted in pursuing a Masters in Organisational Phycology at Heriot Watt in 2021 alongside his work leading teams at Meta.

 

His roles have covered a number of different angles, from strategic to implementational, helping teams at board level through to entry level.

 

Generation AI

This book is designed to be a guide to leaders, managers and shapers of organisations as they navigate the shift to Artificial Intelligence.

  

Leaders face the challenge of the gap between the groups of people most needed for this shift - who sit at opposite ends of the age spectrum.  The newest entrants - Gen Z - grew up in a digital world and understand AI best.  The leaders of most companies come from the other end of the generational groups - Baby Boomers. 

 Bridging this gap is essential for successful AI implementation.

Team Coaching and Leadership

Developing ourselves either as individuals or as teams most often includes developing greater understanding of ourselves, greater understanding of others, greater understanding of our environment and then working on the links between all of these things.  With organisations he follows the systemic coaching approach.

 

He is heavily influenced by the challenges brought about from the modern workplace (national cultural) and resistance to change. His teamwork coaching includes influences from Hofstede, Kotter, Meyer, Kahneman.
